Hospify pilot begins
Secure messaging in beta
Funding round opens

Welcome!

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the Hospify newsletter. Spring is proving a busy time for Hospify. Since we completed the Bethnal Green Ventures incubator programme on April 1, we've had our hands full moving the company forward on all fronts. Hospify pilot begins Our headline story today is Hospify first live hospital pilot trial, which kicked off last week at Queen Victoria Hospital East Grinstead with a call for volunteers to use Hospify in the course of their working day over the next two months, and give us feedback on all aspects of the app.

Secure messaging in beta

To begin with we'll just be testing Hospify's contact database functionality, but we now have encrypted secure messaging working on a beta version of the app, and hope to release it to the live app sometime during the trial, so that our volunteers can get the chance to use it in a live hospital setting.

Funding round opens

Meanwhile we formally opened our first funding round at the Angel's in MedCIty event at London's fantastic City Hall on April 30th, where we pitched Hospify in front of a backdrop of the London skyline to an audience of investors brought together for the occasion by London Business Angels. In the same week we also presented to a Mustard Seed event at Imperial College, and on both occasions shared the stage with some incredible early stage companies - proof, if any were needed, that the UK's start-up scene is thriving.
