Please vote for us!

Since we last emailed you back in December, a few things have been happening at Hospify. A couple of them are a bit confidential, but are potentially very exciting... we'll let you know all about them as soon as we can, but for the time being they're still under wraps.

One thing we can talk about is our entry into the CapGemini Innovators Race competition, which we think we've got a fair chance of winning. First prize in each category is $50,000, and that would help us finish the new version of our app and get it properly tested and into the app stores. We're still running Hospify on a tight budget and in our spare time, so having that kind of money to throw at it would really help move things along. Please take a minute to go to the InnovatorsRace website and vote for us - your votes really count!

Compliant version of app now in testing

Did I say new app? Yes, I said new app! We're well aware that the version of Hospify you can download from the app stores is pretty shaky. But it's only a proof-of-concept, and while you've been playing with it we've been busy working on an entirely new version, built from the ground up. This version is stable, is fast and robust enough to actually use in the workplace and - best of all - is the first app to be built according to our unique data compliant specifications.

We think that this version will be the first production-ready version of Hospify, and so we're taking a bit of time to make sure we get it right. At the moment it's being tested by various medical groups, but we're hoping to make it more widely available some time in the next 2-4 months. We'll keep you posted!

Meet Zettabox - the Hospified Dropbox

It's not just us banging on about the impact of the forthcoming General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on healthcare comms in both the UK and the EU. These guys have got the message too. They've built a version of the popular cloud storage service Dropbox, but one that is compliant with the forthcoming regulations and only has servers that are physically based within the EU - just like Hospify. Check 'em out - we think you might like them.
